Greif Nigeria to file 31st October 2019 financials tomorrow

Greif Nigeria has promised to file its Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31st October 2019 tomorrow, February 5th 2020.

The firm cited the delisting of the company’s shares from the Nigerian Stock Exchange as a reason for the delay in filing its financial reports in a notice filed by the firm to the Nigerian Bourse.

"Following the decision of management to delist the company’s shares from the Nigerian Stock Exchange after suspending business operations for a year due to several challenges faced.

"The company saw the need for thoroughness in auditing its account including tax-related issues and therefore had to give the Auditors ample time to finalize and closeout on all issue," the statement read in part

It promised to file its report on or before 5th February 2020.
