Graduates must possess credible certificates- Buhari

President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) has stressed the need for every Nigerian graduate to possess credible school certificates.

This declaration was made in a meeting between the President and the leadership of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) led by Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi

“The future of the country depends on quality education and our certificates must be credible to inspire confidence,’’ he said.

Buhari also promised to prioritize education as part of the reforms introduced by his regime.

Recall that the President was roped in a certificate scandal last year, when he told the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, that his West African School Certificate was in custody of the military.
