Governorship Election: Our votes must count - Peter Obi says as he casts his vote

Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi has finally casted his votes in the on-going governorship election.

According to Mr Obi, his wife, Margaret Obi also voted as well.

He urged Nigerians to vote, because that is the only way democracy in the country can flourish.

Taking to his Twitter platform, he wrote: "At about 11.20am this morning, I exercised my franchise by casting my vote in my polling unit.

"My dear wife Margaret also voted. I encourage every registered Nigerian voter, who have not yet voted to go and do so.

"Our votes must count in order for Nigeria's democracy to flourish. -PO"
