Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has commended President Bola Tinubu for his significant accomplishments during his first year in office, characterizing them as "monumental."
The commendation came during the official launch of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project, where Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his admiration and respect for President Tinubu.
"It is a privilege to witness such monumental developments under your presidency, akin to the progress you've fostered in our state," said Sanwo-Olu, acknowledging President Tinubu as both a paternal figure and a leader.
Standing before the attendees, Sanwo-Olu declared, "As a proud Lagosian and your son, I can affirm that your performance has been commendable."
He was optimistic that President Tinubu's bold initiatives would spur economic growth throughout the Nigerian states.
"The transformation we're witnessing is not confined to Lagos alone. This highway extends through Ogun, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, and Akwa Ibom States, culminating in Cross River," explained the Lagos governor.
He concluded, "A hearty applause is due, Mr. President. Your actions are not just for today, but for the future we envision. Thank you for taking such a bold step."
