• Nasir El-Rufai weeps uncontrollably at the burial of Ibrahim Attahiru

• COAS died on Friday in a military plane crash

• The army officers were laid to rest on Saturday

In a video that is making rounds, Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai could be seen weeping at the funeral of the military officers who died in a plane crash on Friday, May 21, 2021.

This came as a shock to many as the Governor shed tears during the burial ceremony of Lt General Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru and other eleven officers.

El-Rufai was spotted crying as he took off his face mask to wipe off the tears from his face.

The burial was held at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja on Saturday, May 22, 2021.

Since the news of the death of the COAS and the other officers, the country has been thrown in a state of mourning.
