God is the backbone of Lagos- Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has attributed the success recorded by Lagos State to God, noting none of the progress in the state would have been possible without divine intervention.

Sanwo-Olu mad this statement at the Government’s annual Thanksgiving Service which held today at the State House in Alausa with the theme: “Offering Glorifies God."

He said the successive administrations laboured to put the State on the path of irreversible growth, but said their efforts would have been in vain if "God had not led the struggle."

Despite being at the helms of affairs in the State, the State Governor said God remains the sole administrator of Lagos. He said his election and inauguration into office was divine, promising to always defer to God in administering the affairs of the State.
