The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu caused a stir on social media when he mistook the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for the APC at a recent rally in Jos.

Tinubu, who is in Jos, the capital of Plateau with President Buhari and other bigwigs of the APC to officially kickstart campaign in the state said “God bless the PDP” before concluding with “God bless the APC”.

This is not the first time the former Lagos governor has goofed on a public stage.

Early last week, Tinubu said Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has a vision of turning “rotten situation to a bad one.”

The incident has sparked rumours that Tinubu who just returned from London where he went to see his doctors might be suffering from dementia.

He was speaking at the seventh edition of KadInvest, an annual event organised by the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency.

“We’re not going to let you run away, your vision, creativity and resiliency in turning a rotten situation to a bad one is necessary at this critical time, that’s why we are here today,” Tinubu told El-Rufai.

In July, the APC Presidential Candidate also forgot the name of his party during an interview.
Tinubu was speaking to members of his party in public and almost addressed the APC as “Action Congress.”
