Go save England from knife crimes instead of de-marketing Nigeria - Reno Omokri tells Prince Harry

Former presidential spokesperson Reno Omokri has criticized Prince Harry over reports suggesting parts of Nigeria are unsafe.

In a post on his X page (formerly Twitter), Omokri condemned a foreign report claiming the Duke of Sussex Prince Harry left his wife, Meghan Markle, in Abuja while traveling to an 'unsafe territory.'

Omokri argued that Prince Harry should not have visited Nigeria if he knew it wasn't safe, accusing him of de-marketing the country.

He stated, "This only makes Prince Harry look like a hero at Nigeria's expense. If the Duke of Sussex believed Nigeria was 'unsafe,' why did he visit?

"He wasn't invited. He invited himself and his wife, inserting themselves into Nigeria. Now, their PR team is portraying Harry as a hero who visited an unsafe country.

"More people have died from knife crimes in London than there have been murders in Abuja. Fact-check me: Last year, 244 people were killed in knife crimes in England.

"England has become the knife crime capital of the West. If anywhere should be considered unsafe, why not the United Kingdom instead of Nigeria?

"Just last week, Daniel Anjorin, a 14-year-old boy of Nigerian descent, was killed in London in a knife crime incident.

"How many Britons have been killed in Nigeria this decade? To my knowledge, none!

"Prince Harry should focus on saving England from knife crimes rather than de-marketing Nigeria as an unsafe country."
