Gmail: How man asked womman out through email [Treanding on Twitter]

Love stories can be weird at times and at the same time they can be romantic, depending on how it is told.

Twitter went wild after the love story of two persons went viral. The story reveals how a man asked a lady out through the exchange of emails on google's mailing server, Gmail.

So it turned out a photographer, Tosin Akinsemiju decided to ply an unusual route to shoot his shot and his first and only shot at his crush Halima Sholola, didn’t just hit the target, it would have won a trophy if at all there is one to be awarded for the “shot of the year”.

A screenshot of an email conversation between Tosin and Halima was shared on Twitter by a Brand expert, Samuel Otigba, on Friday and it has since kept Twitter users busy.

In the conversation, Tosin had sent a mail to Halima declaring his love for her and how he would like to spend the rest of his life with her.

Tosin wrote:

“I am writing this letter to humbly ask for your permission to be your boyfriend, and you, my girlfriend.

“I know this is in fact weird given that I’d only just met you some weeks ago, and this isn’t where I saw our friendship going, but I can’t seem ti ignire how much light you have brought into my life since I met you,” he added.

“I promise to be as loving as humanly possible to you, to honour you, respect you, love you, be your personal hypeman, cheer you on as you take on and conquer the world.”

“If you find my application worthy, I’d like to meet up to further discuss terms, as you’d prefer them,” he concluded.

Halima responded via email, informing Tosin that his request had been granted. She then went further to state terms of the relationship.

She wrote:

Apologies for my late response via mail but I guess it is not too late to reiterate a few things that has already been said.

I will like to congratulate you as your request has been granted based on your agreement to the following things.

1 Always speak and act through the lens of love

2 Be intentional about making the relationship a happy and joy filled one that stands the test of time.

3 Put God as the head of our love and relationship

Tosin and Halima’s love story is melting hearts on social media as Twitter users have been expressing admiration for their story.

Members of the ‘God when’ group on Twitter have also camped in the comment section of the tweet, asking God when it would be their turn to share love an adorable love story.
