Globacom has rewarded 115 outstanding business partners from across Nigeria with brand-new cars, millions of naira in cash and other incentives at its 2026 Glo Partners’ Reward Gala held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.
The event was organised to recognise high-performing partners for their contributions during the first six months of the year, while encouraging them to sustain and improve their performance. It also provided an opportunity for the telecommunications company to celebrate its longstanding relationship with its business partners.
Speaking at the event, Globacom’s Cluster Head, Lagos 2, Abdul Rasaq Ande, said the gala was designed to celebrate the company’s partners whose commitment and collaboration have contributed significantly to its success over the years.
“Our partners have, over the years, been the bedrock of the Globacom ecosystem, and their success is our success,” he said.
Ande noted that Globacom had spent 23 years driving technological innovation and service excellence, adding that the company would continue investing in next-generation technologies, expanding its infrastructure and strengthening its network to deliver superior services to customers nationwide.
A total of 115 partners drawn from different trade segments received cash rewards and prizes, including brand-new Suzuki Alto, Kia Rio, Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry vehicles.
The evening’s highest honour, the Top National Partner Star Prize, went to Demi Global Resources, which received a brand-new 2026 Toyota Camry in recognition of its outstanding nationwide performance and contribution to the company’s growth.
Globacom also used the occasion to unveil initiatives aimed at enhancing customer experience. These include Gloria, an AI-powered Glo Café voice assistant designed to improve customer engagement and service delivery in six languages.
The company also highlighted its “More Data More Value” offer, which it said provides subscribers with greater value for every naira spent on data, as well as the expanded “Borrow Me Credit” service, designed to ensure customers remain connected even when they have insufficient airtime. It added that the Glo Café platform is being upgraded to provide a richer digital experience for subscribers.
Beyond the awards, guests were entertained with live performances by singer Segun Johnson, comedy by Gordons and appearances by television personality Mo Abebe, brand influencer KieKie and Nollywood actress Toyin Aimaku.
The event also featured the “Rep Your Region” Best Dressed Competition, where Alamin Muhammed Suleiman of Benjee Communication and Anthonia Agbasi of Chicadef Global Limited emerged winners in the male and female categories respectively, each receiving a cash prize of N500,000.
Speaking on behalf of the award recipients, Managing Director of Demi Global Resources, Ademola Akinlabi, and Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya of Lambadaya Stores commended Globacom for recognising excellence and rewarding dealers across multiple categories with cars, cash prizes and other incentives.
The gala, which ended in the early hours of Friday, underscored Globacom’s commitment to rewarding excellence among its business partners while strengthening collaboration to deliver improved telecommunications services to customers across the country.
