The death of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I), was announced on Monday by the palace of the monarch, revealing that he died at the age of 90.
Oba Olakulehin died just two days after celebrating his 90th birthday and first coronation anniversary. The date for his burial is yet to be announced. However, the Oyo State government has pledged to ensure that the deceased gets a befitting burial.
