Presidential spokesperson Daniel Bwala has said he is confused by the confusion between presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, over fuel subsidy.

While Obi vows to continue with the fuel subsidy removal policy initiated by the President Bola Tinubu administration, Kwankwaso promised that their administration will restore fuel subsidy.

Reacting, Bwala shared on X, "@PeterObi and @KwankwasoRM both have different views about fuel subsidy. Their confusion is confusing me. Lolll Peter Obi use to be the master of populist rhetorics, Atiku has taken that oxygen from him. All of them are more interested in rhetorics than the realities of our country and the need to take the bull by the horn.

"@officialABAT has maintained focus on the issues our people care about and he is addressing them all.

"When Atiku and Amaechi said they would subsidize production, President Tinubu is already doing that in the agriculture, oil and gas, manufacturing, digital economy etc
