Fred Ebere blames Junior Pope for his death, slams AGN for banning Adanma Luke production

Nigerian actor Fred Ebere has blamed his late colleague Junior Pope for his death while slamming the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) for banning Adanma Luke's production.

The comic actor made several criticisms of persons in a video that was posted to his Facebook page. He started by charging Adanma Luke, the film producer, for neglecting to supply life jackets for her camera team.

Ebere Fred also criticized the late Junior Pope for deciding to board the boat without a life jacket, pointing out that Junior Pope would not have done so until one was given.

In addition, Fred reprimanded TC Virus for ringing a bell on the boat even though he knew it was improper to break some taboos close to a river.

He said that Adanma Luke had no intention of causing the deaths, hence AGN's decision to forbid her from directing movies was needless.

Recall that Junior Pope passed away on April 10, 2024, in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, while shooting a movie.

According to reports, the actor passed away while on a boat ride. He and two other unnamed actors drowned when the boat overturned.

It was determined that he had passed away after his body was found and taken to the hospital.
