According to OwnGoalNigeria, a Nigerian football agent based in the UK has claimed that Osimhen’s former agent may be behind the delay in his long-anticipated transfer.

The unnamed agent is allegedly discouraging potential suitors, citing the player’s fallout with Finidi George last year, which has raised questions about Osimhen’s character.

“I’m in a WhatsApp group with a couple of agents, and anytime Osimhen’s name is brought up, he counters it. He has even shared the video of Osimhen’s rant against Finidi George about four times. It’s appalling, to be honest,” the source revealed under the condition of anonymity.

Osimhen had verbally attacked Finidi George last year over allegations that he faked an injury to miss the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic. The reports later turned out to be misleading.
