Former Super Eagles star rejoins Spartak Moscow for training

The AFCON 2013 hero has been out of his team for several months due to an Achilles injury.

Nigerian international, Victor Moses, has returned to training with the Russian team, Spartak Moscow.

The former Chelsea star is back with the Russian club after missing the previous six months due to an Achilles tendon injury.

The Nigerian attacker missed many months of action due to an injury sustained on August 6 during Spartak’s 2-0 top-flight win against Ural.

The Nigerian forward had a strong start to the season before being injured, scoring twice and providing his team with two assists.

Nevertheless, the former Wigan Athletic player’s first goal of the campaign contributed significantly in enabling his club to secure a 1-1 draw against Akhmat Grozny at Akhmat-Arena.

However, his prolonged absence due to injury was a setback for the Gladiators since it forced him to miss key pivotal games in which he would have shown his exceptional effort.

The Red-and-Whites announced his return to the squad on their social media channels.

“Welcome back, @VictorMoses! ❤️✌️” the club wrote.

Moses could also be spotted training with his colleagues in Dubai in one of the pictures shared on the club’s official Instagram page.

The winger may be on the bench for his team’s exhibition game against Botev Plovdiv, but his boss hasn’t made an official announcement.
