Fani-Kayode mourns killing of 23 Nigerian soldiers

Nigerian lawyer, Femi Fani-Kayode, has mourned the death of the 23 Nigerian soldiers who were reportedly ambushed and killed by insurgents.

MyNigeria.com reported that Islamist fighter on Tuesday ambushed and killed about 23 soldiers in Maiduguri.

Fani-Kayode took to his official Twitter account to mourn the killings on Thursday morning.

"The pictures of our 23 soldiers that were killed by Boko Haram in Borno state yesterday are horrific and depressing.

"I cannot even bear to share them. I weep for these young men. May God help us in this nation and may the souls of each of these young warriors rest in peace," he tweeted.
