Fake JAMB Result: I didn't follow my daughter to print her result - Mmesoma's father reveals in latest interview

Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Mmesoma, a 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidate accused of forging her result, says he didn't follow her daughter to print her result slip.

Ejikeme, who is at the center of the controversy in a Channels Television interview simply said "I didn't follow her to print her JAMB sheet' when asked if he knew anything about the alleged forged document.

He further revealed the role Mmesoma's school is playing amid the controversy that has since garnered national interest. According to him, the school which he didn't identify has been taking his daughter in and out of the office of the Department of State Services (DSS).

"The DSS is still investigating and that is where we are now and the school is the one who is taking her to the DSS office. So they are going there with her," he said.

Recall that Mmesoma, a 19-year-old student from Anambra State had been paraded as the top scorer of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Mmesome had claimed to have scored 362 but JAMB refuted her claim, stressing that she got 249.

Her claims had generated divergent views and controversy across Nigeria.

However, the authentic result slip released by JAMB has Mmesoma’s portrait contrary to the result sheet she was parading.

Meanwhile, JAMB spokesman, Fabian Benjamin, said Mmesoma paraded an “obsolete” notification slip.

Amid the controversy generated, JAMB has barred the 19-year-old from sitting for the exam for the next three years.
