FRSC operatives should be more dedicated to service delivery- Lagos/Ogun Zonal Commander

The Lagos and Ogun Zonal Commanding Officer of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), ACM Peter Kibo, has admonished the corps’ personnel to be more dedicated to duties and be safety conscious.

He said all unit commanders and operative commanders are expected to leverage synergies with other sister agencies to enable the corps to have necessary security back up whenever the need arises.

Kibo spoke at Ijebu-Ode, a suburb in Ogun State in continuation of monitoring of ‘Ops Zero Tolerance’ to road traffic indiscipline that could cause highway crashes.

The ZCO explained that the Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, is passionate about the welfare of all Staff, noting that all operatives are expected in return to be more dedicated to work and shun sharp practices in all ramifications.

He finally admonished corps personnel to always abide with Covid-19 protocols at all times and as well enforce all guidelines, in line with governments directives that would further prevent the spread of the deadly disease in the society.

The exercise has in attendance of members of FRSC board, Navy Captain Babatunde Adedimeji Ishola (Rtd), Corps Commander, Lagos Plant, CC Rohila Koli, Ogun Sector Commander, CC Ahmed Umar.

The ZCO was received by the Corridor Commander VI, Deputy Corps Commander (DCC) Lasisi Ogundele, who was in the Command on monitoring exercise of the ongoing Special Patrol and Ijebu-Ode Unit Commander ACC Bashiru Adeyemi.
