Presidential spokesperson Daniel Bwala has announced that the Federal Government will soon reveal the financiers behind terrorism in Nigeria. Bwala, who is the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, shared this information during a Sunday interview on Television Continental.

He emphasised that the government is taking significant steps, and the impact will be evident shortly. Bwala highlighted that terrorism is a worldwide challenge and emphasised the importance of international cooperation with Nigeria.

He traced the global nature of terrorism back to the September 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Centre in the United States. Bwala also noted that terrorism anywhere concerns everyone, underscoring Nigeria’s need for international support to combat it.

“They were in the Middle East, and gradually they are coming towards the Sahel to create a hub of terrorism. That is why the demand is now on the world governments to see how they can cooperate with Nigeria.

“At home, the government is making far-reaching decisions, and in the coming days we will know who the terrorists and their financiers are,” he said.
