FG evacuates 1,042 stranded Nigerians from, China, Oman, Saudi, Turkey

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs have confirmed the evacuation of another batch of stranded Nigerians and four infants in China, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other European countries.

According to the ministry, the evacuation of the 1,042 persons, brings the total number of evacuees to 10,000.

The breakdown of the evacuation showed that 270 from China, 114 Passengers are expected from Oman, 393 from Saudi Arabia and 265 from Turkey and other European countries.

The Turkey evacuees are mainly students from Cyprus.
