FFK did you miss your drugs? - Nigerians slam Fani-Kayode over attack on Labour Party's Ireti Kingibe

Femi Fani-Kayode, Former Aviation Minister and Ireti Kinigbe, FCT Senator-elect

Nigerians have descended on former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode over his comment ridiculing Labour Party’s Ireti Kinigbe.

Recall that Ireti Kinigbe defeated Senator Philips Tanimu Aduda of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who has been representation the House of Senate for over 20 years.

Taking to his Instagram page, FFK described the Labour Party’s victory in FCT as a joke saying the senate election was rigged.

He noted that the alleged plan of the Labour Party will be exposed at the election tribunal.

Fani-Kayode said;

"The most blatant rigging that took place in the last elections was the Senatorial election in the FCT. I have lived in Abuja for 22 years & to say that Ireti Kingibe, the Labour Party candidate, won the election is a joke. All will be exposed at the election tribunal and justice shall prevail. To "elect" an Obidient who constantly seeks to demean, ridicule and undermine the indigenous Gbagyi population to represent the good people of the FCT in the Senate is not only part of a wider agenda to undemine and destroy the unity of our country but also constitutes a security risk and a surreptitious attempt to change the demographics of our nations capital. This must be resisted at all costs and by all lawful means."

Reacting to his comment, some Nigerians slammed him over his attack at Ireti Kinigbe.
