Expect rail, airports and completed road projects in 2020- Buhari

President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) has itemized several projects to be commissioned in the 2020.

He made this disclosure in his New Year speech to Nigerians

He hinted at the commissioning of the Kano, Maiduguri, and Enugu International airports in the New Year.

He also assured Nigerians that not less than 47 road projects will be completed in next two years, inclusive of roads leading to the ports.

In the area of housing and works, the President noted that his regime would deliver 13 housing estates under the National Housing Project Plan, as well as hasten work on the Second Niger Bridge to a hasty conclusion.

He promised to continue to develop agriculture by designing an agricultural rural mechanisation scheme that will cover 700 local governments over a period of three years.

He also added that Lagos – Ibadan, and Itakpe – Warri rail lines will be commissioned. The Ibadan – Abuja, and Kano – Kaduna rail lines will be billed to commence right after that.
