Former Chelsea midfielder, Lesley Ugochukwu, is set to dump France for Nigeria.
The 22-year-old has begun steps to switch his allegiance to the West African country.
Ugochukwu was born in France to Nigerian parents and played for France at youth level.
Since he became eligible to play at the senior level, Ugochukwu has not received a call-up from Les Bleus.
According to FIFA rules, his dual nationality can still see him play for the Super Eagles.
Soccernet reports Ugochukwu travelled to Nigeria this summer and was spotted playing football with Super Eagles star Kelechi Iheanacho in Owerri.
He is also believed to have started the process of acquiring his Nigerian passport.
