Europa League final: Three Super Eagles stars in fierce contest for title

Three Super Eagles stars will be in action when Atalanta faces Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final later today, May 22.

Super Eagles duo Victor Boniface and Nathan Tella will be on parade for the new German champions Leverkusen, while Ademola Lookman will be representing Atalanta on the opposing side.

Boniface and Tella are eyeing a historic treble with Xabi Alonso's side, having already secured the Bundesliga title and a spot in the DFB Pokal final.

Boniface, Leverkusen's leading scorer, has netted 5 goals in the Europa League this season.

Lookman, on the other hand, has been instrumental in Atalanta's journey to the grand finale.

The Super Eagles star registered a goal and an assist in the semifinals against Olympique Marseille.

Bayer Leverkusen are unbeaten in 51 games across all competitions this season.

The final will take place at the AVIVA Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.
