Manchester United faced another devastating setback after missing out on the top four with a crushing 4-0 defeat at Crystal Palace on Monday, May 6.

The result epitomized what has been a disappointing campaign for Erik ten Hag's side, who currently sit 8th on the Premier League log with three matches to go.

The Red Devils conceded two goals in both halves as Michael Olise starred for the Eagles, scoring a brace against the club he has been linked to in the summer transfer window.

Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell added the other two goals for the Selhurst Park outfit as the Eagles completed a double against Manchester United in the EPL this season.

The latest debacle has intensified calls for Ten Haag to be relieved of his duties as manager of the club.

Speaking after the game, the 54-year-old Dutch manager stated that he does not dwell on rumors surrounding his sacking.

"I don't think about this," he said when asked about his future at Manchester United, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano.

"We have many problems, so I prepare the team in the best way I can. The only focus I have is to perform better with my team."
