Despite the violence that has rocked the peaceful #EndSARS protest in some parts of Lagos, the protesters have begun to reconvene at another venue to drum home their demands from the Federal Government.

Protesters in Lekki and Ikeja areas have begun cleaning and setting up for yet another day of the demonstration, The Nation gathered.

One of the protesters told The Nation: “Although I’ve been campaigning on Twitter, and Instagram I just decided to join physically”.

Another said: “In spite of the attacks carried out on the protestors yesterday, we are not backing out.

“We don’t want policemen and other security agents here, we have our own security men without arms and they have been keeping the peace so far.”

Demonstrations across Nigeria have been going on for over two weeks.

The mostly young protesters are calling for police reforms and good governance.

Highways and expressways have been blocked with major businesses, schools and offices shut down.
