#EndSARS: All 103 victims will get grave and concrete slab - APC Chieftain defends Lagos State Govt

Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotosho has revealed that the 103 unidentified Nigerians who were victims of the EnDSARS protest will be given a befitting burial.

This comes after a leaked memo addressed to the Lagos State Ministry of Health indicating that the State Government approved N61,285,000 for the mass burial of the victims sparked outrage on social media.

Speaking in an interview on Arise TV on Tuesday, July 24, Mr. Omotosho noted that each body will be given its own grave and concrete slabs.

"People confuse mass graves for mass burial," he said.

"When you say mass burial, you put all the bodies in one big hole and cover-up, but this is not the case because the Lagos State government is given these people a decent burial and these are people - each body will have its own grave, concrete and slab so that several years after a relation can come and say I want to check whether my relation is there, he continued.

"These guys are getting a decent burial because this is a job that has been given to a company you can call the Julius Berger of Nigeria."
