The ongoing #EndSARS protest has revealed the true nature of Nigeria's youth. The 10-days old protest which has now gained a global face has become an avenue for philanthropic individuals to give back to the ordinary Nigerian.

In a show of love, the youth participating in the protest at Lekki Toll Gate yesterday, October 15 warmed the heart of an elderly woman selling groundnut at the protest ground by donating N500,000 to her.

The disclosure was made by a Twitter user with the handle @sama_on_point who shared pictures of the woman on the social media platform.

Recall that the inspector general of police disbanded the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and introduced Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT).

Nigerians around the world are demanding an end to police brutality in the country.

Tweeps took to social media to express to share their thoughts on the kind gesture of the protesters towards the elderly woman.

A Twitter user with the handle @tawakalt21 wrote:
