A video showing the moment a popular renowned legal expert Maxwell Okpara was harassed in court has gone viral on social media.
The video was sighted on the Instagram page of popular blogger, Linda Ikeji.
"Nigerian lawyer Maxwell Okpara almost assaulted in court by defendant in cybercrime case," the video was captioned.
The reason for the fracas remains unknown at the time of filing this report.
Okpara is reported to be the lawyer of the immediate past Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele.
The Department of State Services (DSS) also revealed in a 2023 report that he is also a lawyer for the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
