Election Tribunal: 'Labour Party are jokers and wishful thinkers' - APC National Secretary, Iyiola Omisore

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has stated that the Labour Party has no chance to win back the presidency in court.

In an interview on Channels TV's 'Politics Today' on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, Iyiola called Labour Party members wishful thinkers and incurable optimists.

According to Iyiola, the APC was faced with so many challenges during the elections, which included a three-party system, but they came out victorious because they were the people's choice.

He said, "This is the most difficult election we had. No cash, no fuel but we managed to come out victorious.

"The labour party are incurable optimists. Even from ground zero, they want to be 100 percent. Those are just wishful thinking from Labour Party.

"As far as I am concerned they are jokers. We followed the court trend and so far there is nothing to worry about. I don't want to prejudge the judge because its in the court of law.

"There can't be a rerun for God's sake. It was a clear win."
