Ekiti Assembly elects Aribisogan as Speaker

Ekiti State House of Assembly has elected a new Speaker.

The new Speaker, Gboyega Aribisogan, who represents Ikole constituency, was elected at plenary on Tuesday.

He is replacing the late Speaker, Funminyi Afuye, who died last month after a brief illness.

The election of the new Speaker is also coming some months after 5he swearing in of a new executive governor.
