In the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly primary election in Ekiti State, Bolu, son of former Governor of the state, Ayodele Fayose, has defeated the incumbent House of Assembly member, representing Irepodun/Ifelodun Constituency two, Hakeem Jamiu, in his Igbemo Ekiti Ward.

Bolu Fayose got 955 votes as against Hakeem Jamiu's 171.

Also in Iworoko Ward, Bolu Fayose had 1,140, while Jamiu got 10 votes.

In Afao Ward, Fayose's hometown, Bolu also defeated his opponent with wide margin.
