Eid-el-Kabir: Emulate virtues of love, peace like Prophet Mohammed

Member, representing Kaduna North, Samaila Suleiman on Tuesday, called on Muslim faithful to strive to emulate the virtuous life of total obedience, love, justice and self-sacrifice of Prophet Mohammed.

Samaila Suleiman who expressed this, shortly after the Sallah praying ground in Kaduna told his constituents, friends and political associates to love one another, irrespective of tribe, language and religion adding that, by so doing, they move forward.”

Going back memory lane, he said although a member representing his constituents, he will make sure, what is due for them, will always be delivered to them.

He called on political office holders to see the need to provide dividends of democracy in the area of welfare to the people as it is a must that it should be felt by the downtrodden.

His words: “Both Islam and Politics is about bringing succour to the people, as leaders we must uphold the teaching of the Holy book by putting smiles on the faces of the masses.”

“I urge us to continue to exhibit the spirit of sacrifice in our daily activities and in the task of lifting our country out of its current difficulties.

“I assure my constituents, the good people of Kaduna North of my total commitment to their welfare and development, ” he said.

He maintained that the observance of such virtues will take Kaduna North and the State to the Promised Land, adding that Eid-el-Kabir should be an opportunity to re-double our efforts on unity and justice celebration.
