Edo governor sacks over 200 aides

The governor pf Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has sacked more than 200 aides, including commissioners.

This was made known by his Special Adviser on Media Projects, Crusoe Osagie.

According to Osagie, Special Assistants (SAs) and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) are affected by the termination which is with immediate effect.

The decision was made at the weekly executive council meeting on Wednesday, May 4, 2023.

Governor Obaseki thanked members of the council for their service to the government and people of the State.
