Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church Worldwide has expressed concern that a time is coming when drones will be used to pick people up while they are walking on the road.

This was as he urged people to protect themselves against such a time, using a defence that is beyond man's reach.

Oyedepo made this known while delivering a sermon before his congregation last Sunday, during which he touched on the recent war between Iran and Israel.

He said, "I saw the way military juggernauts are being struck recently in some of those battles. As if they are civilians, absolutely defenceless. I hope a time is not around when drones will be carrying people. You will just be going on the road and drones will just carry you. If there is any time you need protection, it is now. In a wild world, you need a defence beyond man's access. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19)."

Speaking further, he said, "I was told of one of those (political) leaders who came to Ogun State for an official assignment, and he said the only place he can stay around here and feel safe is at the Covenant University Guest House. Otherwise, they can come and pick him up at night elsewhere.

"It is a world of uncertainties, but can you imagine standing inside God. Not in a place, inside God. They have to carry God before they hurt you. No evil will hit your children. No evil will hit your grandchildren because He builds a wall of fire around those who serve Him."
