Driver flees after crushing two motorcyclists to death

A commercial bus driver conveying passengers from Abuja fled for his life after crushing two motorcyclists to death.

The incident occurred on Sunday in Akungba, Akoko South West Local Government Area.

Witnesses said the bus rammed into the two motorcyclists while they were arguing after a head-òn collision.

The driver took to his heels, leaving his passengers behind.

A spokesman for the Ondo Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Abiola Fadumo said soldiers calmed a mob reacting to the incident.
