Dr. Aminu Gamawa has been appointed as the Chief of Staff of Bauchi State Government

Dr Aminu Hassan Gamawa has been chosen as the new Chief of Staff for the Bauchi State Government House by Governor Bala Mohammed.

In a statement made on Monday, the Governor's spokesman, Muktar Gidado, stated that Gamawa's appointment is effective immediately.

“Gamawa holds a Master's and Doctorate in Law from Harvard Law School at Harvard University in the United States, one of the world's most prestigious educational institutions.”

“He is from Bauchi State's Gamawa Local Government Area. He is a lawyer, a teacher, a policy specialist, and a government official. He has worked for a variety of organizations, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits.”

“From 2011 to 2014, he was the Coordinator of the Harvard Law School Graduate Forum and a teaching fellow at Harvard. At local and international conferences, he presented numerous academic and professional papers.”

“Dr. Gamawa received the National Productivity Order of Merit (NPOM) Award in the year 2020.”

The new Chief of Staff is one of the 21 commissioners who were affected by the State Executive Council's collapse last week.

He was the immediate past till his appointment, Hon. Bauchi State's Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning.

Gamawa succeeds Ladan Salihu, the former Director-General of the Nigerian Radio Corporation (FRCN).
