Popular on-air-personality, Do2dtun has cautioned feuding parents not to treat children as possessions during separation and custody disputes, stating that the pattern can cause lasting damage to the children.
Do2dtun, in a post on his X account, insisted that the idea that one parent "owns" a child leads to conflict and emotional harm to everyone involved.
“The idea of treating children like a possession or property, or as if you own them in a fight, can eventually become an ultimate undoing. They belong to both parties and have equal rights and responsibilities,” he wrote.
Do2dtun noted that while disagreements are inevitable, using children to punish an ex-partner crosses a line.
“One party is allowed to be angry if the other uses them as a pawn or refuses to show up,” he stated.

He added that many parents are not prepared for the reality that, despite their sacrifices, children ultimately make their own choices about relationships.
“The part no one tells you: no matter the sacrifice made, sadly, the kids will still choose,” he wrote.
He ended with advice centred on the child’s wellbeing rather than parental validation.
“Do everything cos you want them to be better, not because you want them to love you only or choose you,” he added.
