Renowned Arise TV broadcaster Rufai Oseni has joined the thousands of Nigerians who have taken to social media to share their thoughts on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's unfortunate fall at the Democracy Day celebration.
In a viral video circulating on social media, Tinubu lost his footing while boarding the presidential parade vehicle during the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of June 12 held at the Eagles Square in Abuja.
The 72-year-old was immediately assisted by military personnel to regain his balance.
Rufai Oseni joined several others in sympathizing with President Tinubu, warning Nigerians not to make mockery of the incident.
Taking to his X handle, the journalist tweeted, "Don’t mock a man’s fall. Sorry for the fall, chief."
The Democracy Day celebration brought together several dignitaries and political personalities to mark 25 years of freedom from military rule.
Don’t mock a man’s fall. Sorry for the fall chief
