Veteran Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has stirred conversation with his recent remarks about the healthcare industry, claiming that medical doctors are not necessarily trained to heal but rather view sickness as a business opportunity.
In a recent interview with the Echoo Room hosted by reality TV star Teddy A.
Jim Iyke argued that it is often more profitable for doctors to keep patients returning to the hospital repeatedly than to provide a complete cure.
According to Iyke, the health sector operates as a trillion-dollar industry, where the focus for many professionals is sustained profit rather than swift healing.
“There’s a GMO everywhere. The orthodox medicines; the lies. If I say it anywhere, it upsets them [medical practitioners].
“Medical doctors are basically trained all through their career not to heal. It’s big pharma business. If they tell you what to take and they heal you, you’re not a customer anymore and they won’t make money.
“That’s a trillion-dollar industry,” Jim Iyke stated.
