Do the needful EFCC - Nigerians react as northern billionaire 'romances' naira notes at an event

Nigerians on social media have called out the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC, after videos emerged of a northern billionaire abusing the naira at an event.

In what looks like a wedding ceremony, a woman was seen standing while a man dressed in a blue agbada was seen spraying a huge bundle of cash on her.

The video has since sparked outrage on social media as many tagged the EFCC, adding that they hope the man would be arrested as they have done with some celebrities.

Since the EFCC began clamping down on Nigerians who abuse the naira, two celebrities have been taken into custody. They include crossdresser, Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky and businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu aka, Cubana Chiefpriest.

On April 12, Bobrisky was sentenced to prison for six months while Cubana Chiefpriest was given a fine of N10 million for abusing the naira notes.

Nigerians have taken to social media to call out the EFCC for failing to apprehend some notable personalities who have been caught on videos abusing the naira.
