Dino Melaye, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the just-ended Kogi State governorship election has shared of photo of himself with presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.

Dino who was found in the company of some unidentified men described the former Vice President as the "real president".

He captioned the photo: "The real president, Atiku Abubakar, took us out to the exclusive Cipriani restaurant. Thank you, Daddy."

The photo has generated mixed reactions on social media.

Meanwhile, Dino has denied speculations that he collected N3 billion from former Atiku Abubakar and Chairman of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote for the elections.

He explained that the speculation was the handiwork of his detractors, who were bent on detailing his campaign.

Melaye described the speculation that he collected N1 billion from Atiku and N2billion from Dangote as “fake news” peddled by “betrayers.”
