'Different from babablu' - UNIAbuja students mimic Tinubu's gaffe

A video is making rounds of an anchor of the University of Abuja mimicking Bola Tinubu in a Breakfast Townhall meeting for Peter Obi.

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi recently paid a visit to the University of Abuja (UNIAbuja on Friday, January 27, to address the students ahead of election in February.

During this meeting, an anchor was heard trying to explain to the students the reason for Peter Obi's visit.

In an attempt to mimic Tinubu's famous gaffe, the anchor got stunned when he was joined by the students.

The anchor speaking to the students said;

"Great Nigerian students!"

To this the students echoed:

"Great!"

The anchor continued:

"This is not a political rally, this is not a Labour Party rally."

To both insinuations, the students responded:

"We know."

Immediately, the anchor went ahead to say:

"This is a town hall..."

Before he could complete his sentence, the students echoed in unison:

"...Different from Babablu, Bulaba, Babablu!"

This gaffe was used by the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress at one of his rallies.

The gaffe is one of many that Tinubu has made in the run-off to the upcoming election.

Peter Obi and his running mate Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed also met with the vice chancellor of the University of Abuja in his office.

Taking to his social media page to make this known, Peter Obi said; "I had a breakfast meeting with the VC of UniAbuja, Prof Abdul-Rasheed Na'Alla, in his office. I told the VC that every nation survives by the type of leadership it has; a leadership that is sacrificial, visionary and adaptive. -PO"
