An aide to the Minister of the FCT, Lere Olayinka, has questioned Governor Seyi Makinde concerning N30bn fund delivered to him to give to victims of an explosion in Oyo State.

The sum was given to Makinde by President Bola Tinubu to compensate the victims of an explosion caused by stored dynamite.

However, since 2024, no one knew of the sum until former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, brought it to the limelight after a fallout with Makinde.

The issue has been raised again by Olayinka, who once served as a media aide to Fayose.

He wrote on X, "₦30bn that the President made available for victims of January 2024 Bodija, Ibadan explosion, he CHOP am?

"₦7.7bn for Surveillance Aircraft, he CHOP am?

"He is Presidential Candidate of APoMu party, contesting to be President of Iwo Road and Bodija."
