'Dem dey reverse go front before?' - Funny reactions as DSS officer speaks funny English as he bars Sowore from entering Supreme Court

Nigerians have chided the officer of the Department of State Security (DSS) who spoke vernacular as he barred Omoyele Sowore from getting access to the Supreme Court on Friday, December 15.

In the video that has since gone viral, the officer who wasn't identified told the two-time presidential candidate that he had "no access" to the apex court.

"I tried attending the Supreme Court ruling for #FreeNnamdiKanuNow this morning but was denied access by an unruly team of @OfficialDSSNG officers stationed at the gate of the #SupremeCourtofNigeria screaming #AccessforSowore. It was shameful and this tells that the persecution of Nnamdi Kanu is an @OfficialAPCNg official position. The regime of Bola Tinubu @officialABAT is in on it," Sowore captioned the video shared on his Instagram page.

The officers could be heard threatening to break the phone Sowore used in recording the altercation. The officer continuously asked Sowore to move his car away from the Supreme Court complex.

Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has set aside a judgment by the lower court that dismissed the terrorism charges against the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.

The apex court held that the court of appeal was wrong and that the trial court couldn’t try him because his rights were violated by the prosecution.
