Presidential candidate of the People's Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar and the Flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu met on Saturday night, July 16 and exchanged pleasantries as the vote counting was ongoing in Osun state.
During the brief meeting, Atiku was captured asking Tinubu why he was leaving at the late of the night and if he was been driven away.
Responding, Tinubu said no and that he had to leave to Lagos.
The two presidential candidates of the two major political parties were present in Osun to monitor the governorship elections.
The Osun state governorship election ended with the PDP candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke emerging winner. He beats the incumbent Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the APC by winning in 17 local government areas.
