Declare a state of economic emergency else the rich, poor will all die together - Ben Bruce tells Buhari

Senator Ben Bruce has added his voice to the many Nigerians sharing their concerns about the current state of the nation.

Taking to his Twitter page, Bruce called on President Muhammadu Buhari to declare a State of Economic Emergency in other to tackle the fuel subsidy challenges.

According to his post, he said Nigeria is bleeding from economic hardship among other issues ravaging the country.

Bruce noted that if the state of emergency is not declared, both the rich and the poor will die together.

Bruce wrote;

"President Buhari must declare a State of Economic Emergency to tackle the fuel subsidy issue lest the rich and poor will all die together. Nigeria is bleeding! You cannot work for a modern government in the 21st century if you have no imagination."
