What began as a seamless performance at Davido’s 5Alive concert in Abidjan quickly took a dramatic turn after an unexpected security scare.

While performing his Grammy-nominated collaboration “With You” featuring Omah Lay, a male fan suddenly dashed toward the stage, causing brief tension across the venue. In the viral clip, Davido immediately stepped back and braced himself defensively as the intruder charged forward.

His bodyguards reacted within seconds, rushing in to restrain the fan before he could get close to the singer, pulling him away from the stage area as the crowd erupted in shock.

Moments later, Davido surprised many with what happened next. Rather than continue his set, he paused the performance and approached the scene to check on the fan, who was still being held down by security.
