Rapper Odumodublvck recently shared that Afrobeats superstar Davido gifted his girlfriend ₦10 million.

In an interview with Beat 99.9 FM, he expressed his appreciation, calling Davido "a real gee"

He said, "Shoutout to Davido, that’s my brother. Two days ago, he sent N10M to my girlfriend, he sent the money for being a real gee”.

The generous gesture followed Odumodublvck’s big win at the 17th Headies Awards, where he took home Next Rated and Best Rap Single.

He and Davido have built a strong professional bond, previously collaborating on the 2024 song "Funds" with Chike. Davido had even voiced confidence in Odumodublvck’s chances of winning at the Headies.

Meanwhile, Odumodublvck stirred conversations online after claiming his Headies acceptance speech was interrupted due to his mention of Jesus Christ.

Posting on X, he suggested that had he spoken about Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu instead, his mic wouldn’t have been cut off.

Despite the momentary disruption, the rapper reassured fans that he holds no grudges against the Headies organizers and remains grateful that his microphone was turned back on, allowing him to continue his speech.

He took the opportunity to reaffirm his faith, declaring, "Jesus is king. He is before now and forever."
