Singer Davido prostrated before the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, during a meeting with the minister and his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State.

Days after emerging winner of the Osun State governorship election held last Saturday, Adeleke paid a visit to Wike in Abuja.

MyNigeria recalls that Wike had said Adeleke was able to get re-elected because President Bola Tinubu was not interested in Osun State. According to him, if Tinubu was interested, he would have been sent to Osun to ensure Adeleke's defeat.

This may have prompted Adeleke to pay a thank-you visit to Wike, accompanied by his nephew, Davido.

During their meeting, Davido was heard bragging that he helped his uncle defeat all the governors and great politicians who backed the opposition candidates.

When Wike jokingly threatened to reverse the situation, Davido immediately prostrated before the minister and rushed to hug him as they joked about it.
